West Java Targets The Big Three Rank National STQH 2019

BANDUNG CITY- West Java Tilawatil Quran and Hadist (STQH) Caravan is targeting the top three in the National STQH which will be held in Pontianak June 27 - July 6, 2019. The optimism expressed by the West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil after seeing the quality of the West Java caravans was increasingly promising.

"I hope that with better quality and implementation, the West Java caravan will be able to compete against other provinces, so I target to be in the top three of the National STQH," said the Governor after closing the XVI STQH in West Java, at Pusdai, Bandung (3/5) 19) night.

In the previous year's National STQH title at Tarakan, North Kalimantan, the West Java contingent was in eighth place. The top three target for this year's National STQH, according to the Governor, is very realistic because West Java has the highest number of Muslims, 41 million supported by quality facilities and human resources. Coaching, he continued, was the key to victory in addition to designing strategies and evaluations by LPTQ for Qori and Qoriah and Hafidz and Hafidzah.

"This competition must come from coaching not to be equated like a sports competition," said the Governor who is familiarly called Emil.

STQH XVI at the West Java level is also a place to select the best caravans whose next winners will be fostered by LPTQ West Java for preparation at the National STQH.

In STQH XVI in West Java 2019 this time, the panel of judges chaired by T Fuad Wahab decided the City of Bandung was the overall champion with a value of 25 points. Followed by Bogor City, ranked second with 16. While the third rank was won by Sukabumi Regency and Bogor Regency with a value of 14.

The fourth rank was won by the City of Tasikmalaya (8), ranked sixth by Bandung Regency, Tasikmalaya and Ciamis District (6), ranked seventh by Cirebon, Majalengka, Kuningan, Indramayu, Sumedang and West Bandung Regencies. Furthermore, the eighth place is occupied by Karawang, Depok and Cirebon City (3), ranked ninth in the City of Sukabumi and Garut (2) and ranked tenth by Bekasi Regency (1).

The Governor's Fixed Cup was handed over directly by Ridwan Kamil to the Mayor of Bandung Oded M Danial. "Congratulations to the city of Bandung for being the overall champion, hopefully it will be an inspiration for other regions," Emil said.

He highlighted a number of regions that had not yet reached the value of this West Java XVI STQH, namely Subang District, Cianjur, Purwakarta, Pangandaran, Cimahi City and Banjar. For this reason, the Governor will send a warning letter to the head of the region to be considered and corrected in the following year.

"There are regions that have absolutely no value. We are asked to introspect. We will send a letter to remind the region so that in the following year it will increase because life is not only about infrastructure but also spirituality and religion," Emil said

STQH XVI West Java 2019 level is held from 28 April to 3 May 2019, with the location of the race at Pusdai, Masjid Raya Bandung and Masjid Al-Muttaqin Gedung Sate. Of the dozens of branches and groups that were contested, the panel of judges gave trophies to the ranking champions 1,2,3 and the champions of 1,2,3 in each branch and category.

"This STQH is a proud and congratulating routine for the winners who will become provisions at the national level," concluded Emil.
