    April, West Java experienced inflation of 0.41 percent


    BANDUNG - April 2019 West Java Joint CPI covering 7 cities namely Bogor City, Sukabumi City, Bandung City, Cirebon City, Bekasi City, Depok City and Tasikmalaya City experienced an increase in the index.

    "CPI of 133.96 in March 2019 became 134.51 in April 2019, thus inflation was 0.41 percent," Head of the West Java Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Doddy Herlando said on Thursday (5/2).

    Of the seven cities CPI monitoring in West Java in April 2019 all experienced inflation, namely the City of Bogor by 0.50 percent, City of Sukabumi by 0.46 percent, City of Bandung at 0.43 percent, City of Cirebon at 0.27 percent, City of Bekasi at 0 , 35 percent, Depok City by 0.49 percent, and Kota Tasikmalaya by 0.21 percent

    The inflation year of the calendar year "year to date" (January - April 2019) is 0.80 percent and the inflation rate from year to year "year on year" (April 2019 against April 2018) is recorded at 2.88 percent.

    Of the seven expenditure groups, all experienced inflation, namely the Foodstuffs group of 1.67 percent, the Food Group, Beverages, Cigarettes & Tobacco by 0.14 percent, Housing, Water, Electricity, Gas & Fuel by 0.02 percent.

    Then the Clothing Group was 0.06 percent, the Health Group was 0.31 percent, the Education, Recreation & Sports Group was 0.02 percent, and the Transport, Communication & Finance Group was 0.09 percent. Jo
