TASIKMALAYA REGENCY- Deputy Governor of West Java, Uu Ruzhanul Ulum, opened the activities of the Grand Qur'an Recitation Graduation for the East Priests of the Huffazhil Quran Forum (FHQ), at the Islamic Center Building in Tasikmalaya Regency, Sunday (04/28/19).

As many as 3,000 Koran memorizing students officially became graduates after going through the stages of tests such as Munaqosah Tahfizul Quran, Simaan, and other stages of testing. The students who graduated and graduated memorized at least one juz until memorized 30 juz of the Koran.

The Deputy Governor stated that the West Java Provincial Government fully supports this activity because it is in line with one of the West Java programs, Inner Born Champion, namely One Village One Hafidz or one village that is a memorizer of the Koran. Uu considers all satri who are graduated as the pride of West Java.

To the salafiyah santri, Uu emphasized the West Java Provincial Government's commitment to immediately issue a pesantren regulation to guarantee the operation of the pesantren and the welfare of its teachers in a legal umbrella.

With the first pesantren regulation in Indonesia, santri can enjoy School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds, as well as scholarships from the government or other types of assistance.

"I support this activity because together with the Governor and the West Java Born Champion, we have the Satu Desa Satu Hafidz program," Uu said.

In the early stages of the Satu Desa Satu Hafidz program, the Provincial Government targeted to print 5,000 Koran memorizers. With more and more young people memorizing the Koran, Uu hopes West Java will be increasingly blessed, fertile, prosperous, just and safe.

In anticipation of the 4.0 industrial revolution, Uu also hopes Islamic boarding schools can become a means of developing human resources, especially the younger generation that is competitive. Islamic boarding schools are no longer just places to deepen religious knowledge, but educational institutions that empower people.

"Santri-santri must not miss out on being clueless. Easy - hopefully santri can be a great person to be useful for the nation and religion. Khoirunnas anfa'uhum linnas," he said.

The Head of the Koran Education Section of the West Java Provincial Office of the Ministry of Religion Nur Mauludin said that the graduation of 3,000 Koranic reciters became a special joy for the Ministry of Religion.

He appreciated the tenacity of the santri memorizing the words of Allah SWT in the midst of various negative influences on the internet and devices. According to Nur, these santris are the generation of rabbani, the guardian generation of the Koran in the millennial era.

According to the Chairperson of the Tasikmalaya Huffazhil Quran (FHQ) Forum Agus Yosef Abdullah, graduates who memorized up to 30 juz will get umrah prizes to the Holy Land. This year's graduation is the second. Last year the pesantren was only attended by 1,200 elementary school participants from 18 District / City Tasikmalaya sub-districts.

"The West Java provincial government always embraces and fosters us. We take part in the success of the provincial government program, Satu Desa Satu Hafidz. We are successful, we are eager to fight for the memorizers of the Koran," he said. (*)
