BANDUNG - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil ordered the West Java Regional Secretary to immediately take preventive steps to anticipate health problems for election officials in West Java. This is considering the length of time they are still in charge until the announcement or determination of the final calculation results in May 2019.
"I have asked the Regional Secretary to immediately provide or facilitate health checks for election officials in West Java so that they can be quickly detected if there are health problems. They are still on duty until the end of May," Ridwan Kamil said Tuesday afternoon (04/23/2019) in Gedung Sate, when submitting compensation to the family or heirs of the deceased election officer who died while on duty.
Reflecting on the incident of the death of election officers while on duty due to fatigue, Kang Emil saw that preventive anticipation was better done.
"With such a system, their duties are indeed heavy and must be tiring. Therefore we really care about their health," he said.
Ridwan Kamil asked the West Java Regional Secretary to immediately coordinate with the municipal district health office and KPU to facilitate the examination or health monitoring of the election officers. (Even)
