    The Provincial Government Discussed PPDB 2019

    BANDUNG- Towards the implementation of the New Student Admission (PPDB) in West Java, the West Java Provincial Government today, Tuesday (23/04) conducted a Plenary Meeting on the implementation of PPDB in the Ciremai Building Gedung Sate.

    Plenary Meeting led by West Java Provincial Secretary, Iwa Karniwa was attended by a number of Regional Organizations (OPD) including Asda 3, Expert Staff, Inspector, Kadinsos, Kadiskominfo, Kadisnakertrans, Karo Hukum, Karo Humas, Karo Yanbansos and Development Acceleration Team (TAP )

    From the results of the Plenary Meeting, the West Java Provincial Education Office will continue to use the Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 51 of 2018 and a Circular of two Ministers namely the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Ministry of Home Affairs in PPDB in West Java.

    According to the Head of the West Java Provincial Education Office, Dewi Sartika, according to Permendikbud No. 51 year 2018 and Circular Letter of two Ministers, in PPDB it will use 90 percent for zoning routes, 5 percent achievement paths and the other 5 percent for transfers.

    "In using the zoning route there are indeed efforts related to the West Java Provincial Government, in this case there are still uneven numbers of schools in several regions," he said.

    Dewi stated that her party had discussed the points related to PPDB especially those related to the uneven number of schools in a number of regions.

    "We are still waiting for the Governor Regulation (Pergub), today we will finish it, so hopefully tomorrow the Governor Regulation and Technical Guidelines will be clear tomorrow," Dewi said, after conducting the Plenary Meeting at Gedung Sate, Tuesday (04/23).
