    6 Regions in West Java Now Have a Waste Processing Unit

    BANDUNG REGENCY - 6 waste processing units are assistance from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry, to reduce and utilize waste. The 6 regions included Bandung City, Bandung Regency, Cimahi City, Subang, and Karawang. West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil at the inauguration ceremony by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry said that the waste management tool essentially changed the lifestyle and way of life of the people.

    "With this tool, it will change the way of life of the people and their views on waste. From what had just been thrown away and pollute the environment, now his mind is being used" he said in Jelekong, Bandung Regency Monday (4/15/2019).

    With various waste reduction efforts carried out with the central, regional and community governments, Ridwan Kamil hopes there will be no more opportunities to dispose of garbage.

    "If all of this can be sustainable, then in the future there will be no more opportunities to dispose of litter or not utilized" he said.

    Inauguration of the 6 regional waste processing units as well as symbolically carried out by the Indonesian Ministry of Environment and Forestry Minister DR. Ir. Siti Nurbaya MSc. Attended by several regional heads such as the Mayor of Bandung, Bandung Regent and Deputy Mayor of Cimahi.
