BANDUNG - PTDI signed a Sale and Purchase Contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia to procure 1 (one) unit of Super Puma NAS-332 C1 + Helicopter signed by Commitment Making Officials, Defense Facilities Agency (Baranahan) of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, TNI Brigadier Bambang Kusharto and Director Commerce PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) (PTDI), Irzal Rinaldi Zailani.
The signing of the Sale and Purchase Contract was witnessed by the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Indonesia, TNI General Ryamizard Ryacudu and PTDI Managing Director, Elfien Goentoro in Jakarta, as conveyed through PT DI's PR press release on Friday (12/4).
The Sale and Purchase Contract of the Super Puma NAS-332 C1 + Helicopter between the Indonesian Ministry of Defense and PTDI for the Air Force with the contract covering 1 (one) unit of the Helicopter also includes Training for Aviators and Technicians, Technical Publications and Parts.
Super Puma NAS-332 C1 + helicopter is a PTDI product equipped with Avionic Glass Cockpit, accompanied by AHRS optical sensor (Attitude Heading and Reference System), FMS (Flight Management System) technology, instruments used by pilots to arrange flight plans including the path to be passed by the helicopter, SAR Direction Finder to capture ELT (Emergency Locator Transmitter) signals, NVG (Night Vision Goggle), Weather Radar and Emergency Floatation to make emergency landings on water. Super Puma NAS-332 C1 + helicopter can fly for 4 (four) hours with a maximum speed of 306 km / hour.
The helicopter is capable of carrying 18 troops and 3 crews (Pilots, Co-Pilots and Aircraft Helicopters), which are multipurpose heavy transport helicopters that can be used for military transport, cargo, paratroop transport, medical evacuation, and VIP.
