    Unpad is Ready to Implement Computer Based Writing Exam

    BANDUNG - Computer Based Writing Exam (UTBK) will begin on 13 and 14 April 2019. In conducting the exam, UTBK Unpad center will partner with the State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Gunung Jati Bandung and SMS IT Krida Nusantara.

    The total number of participants registered at UTBK Unpad 2019 center is 24. 586 with details of 13. 916 participants will participate in UTBK who are located in Unpad, divided into 22 Sessions, using 720 computers per session. While as many as 8,990 participants will participate in UTBK at Sunan Gunung Jati Bandung UIN which is divided into 18 Sessions using 550 computers per session. And in SMA Krida Nusantara IT will be attended by 1,680 participants consisting of 16 sessions and 105 computers per session.

    Nationally, the total number of participants in the first wave of UTBK 2019 (April 13 - May 4, 2019) were 698,505 participants. Of the number of participants in the first wave of UTBK who participated in the Science Exam group as many as 374,641 participants and the Social Sciences exam group as many as 323,864 participants. As for the status, it can be informed that those who participated in the first round of UTBK consisted of 516,927 regular participants and 181,578 Bidikmisi participants. The number of exam rooms used for the first wave was 29,297 spaces at 73 UTBK Central State Universities.

    The total number of participants in the second wave of UTBK 2019 (May 11 - May 26, 2019) was 597,115 participants. Of the total UTBK participants in the second wave who participated in the Science Examination group, there were 304,301 participants and 292,814 participants in the Social Sciences exam group. As for its status, it can be informed that those who participated in the second round of UTBK consisted of 419,049 regular participants and 178,066 Bidikmisi participants. The number of exam rooms used for the second wave was 27,031 spaces at 73 UTBK Central State Universities.

    "It should be noted that participants who will join UTBK should pay attention to the test schedule," said Syauqi Lukman in his press release on Thursday (11/4)

    The morning session starts at 7.30 and the afternoon session starts at 12:30 local time. The participants are required to be present 30 minutes beforehand and already know the location and test room according to what is listed on the UTBK 2019 participant's card. To the participants, they must know and understand the test order correctly. Every violation of the test order will result in the participant being canceled.

    "To all relevant parties, it is expected that they will play an active role in maintaining the atmosphere of the UTBK 2019 implementation so that it takes place in an orderly, safe and comfortable manner. During UTBK 2019, outsiders are not permitted to enter the examination room except the committee," he explained. jo
