    West Java is First Province in Conversion of Gas Stoves to Electric Stoves


    BANDUNG - To expand the effectiveness of using electric stoves or induction, West Java became the first province to sign the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources through the Directorate General of Electricity.

    This activity was facilitated by ESDM West Java, and the signing was carried out by the Central Java Regional Business Director of PLN, Amir Rosidin and West Java Provincial Secretary, Iwa Karniwa in the Gebyar Energi Champion 2019 on the West Parking Lot of Gedung Sate, Tuesday (04/4/2019 )

    In this event a symbolic induction / electricity assistance was provided to the community.

    In his remarks, West Java Secretary Iwa Karniwa revealed that West Java is a household customer area with large amounts of electricity, which reached more than 12.9 million PLN customer households.

    For this conversion from oil or gas stoves to induction / electric stoves is certainly able to reduce West Java's dependence on LPG gas.

    Related to this, the PLN West Java Distribution Unit provides a 75 percent discount for West Java residents who want to increase power.

    "We facilitate, we give a 75 percent discount for residents who want to add power", said General Manager of PLN UID Jabar, Iwan Purwana

    He said the idea of ??providing induction / electricity assistance for 4,130 West Java residents was an initiative of the West Java ESDM Service in collaboration with around 10 companies under its auspices.

    Iwan added that Gebyar Energi, the 2019 Champion has a spirit, namely suppressing emissions issues, safety and subsidies. According to him this conversion shows that society has become more modern.
