BANDUNG- A total of 1,000 students from a number of universities in Indonesia Fintech Hackathon Day held by the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs of the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti).
Activities that took place at the Bandung Institute of Technology began today, Monday (04/08) to Wednesday (04/10) as one of the efforts to improve the quality of vocational higher education learning in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
Director of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa), Kemenristekdikti, Prof. Ismunandar said, this activity was the implementation of a technical guidance program on the development of learning through cooperation with Singapore which had been signed by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Singapore between the Indonesian Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education and the Minister of Education on September 7, 2017.
"I hope this activity can increase the capacity of lecturers to be able to develop curriculum and learning related to Fintech within the framework of Indonesia's digital economic development, the emergence of various student learning activities related to Fintech in preparing reliable young people to be able to engage in the digital-based business world, as well as pedagogical design "Fintech's innovation and creation of ideas through the Hackathon to produce creative and innovative tertiary graduates in the digital economy," he explained
The Hackathon Day carries the theme "Hackathon Program Training / Workshop on Innovation and Creation of Ideas for Financial Technology (Fintech) Learning in Higher Education" divided into 3 types as a tool for developing curriculum programs and Fintech college learning.
The activity was attended by a thousand more participants. 60 participants participated in the Hackathon Lecturer, a number of 1000 Seminar / Talkshop Hackathon participants and 150 Hackathon Competition participants. All of them fight for coaching money of 200 million rupiah. (Parno)
