BANDUNG - Some Special Economic Zones or SEZs in West Java need to be revised. West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil said the revised KEK was because in one SEZ it must include several advantages not only tourism.
"For example Pangandaran, it is 80 percent of tourism and 20 percent of maritime affairs," he said, on the sidelines of the West Java Musrenbang RKPD 2020 at the Trans Luxury Hotel, Tuesday (2/4/2019).
According to Kang Emil, Governor of West Java, the revision does not mean lack but there are additional requirements that must be met.
"The revision is not a shortage or a mistake. It is normal for a newborn baby to always have something like that. InsyaAllah, everything will go smoothly," Emil said.
Meanwhile Tourism Minister Arif Yahya at the same place promised to immediately complete the selection of tourism SEZs in West Java until September 2019.
"InsyaAllah, at the latest by September, we have determined the SEZ in West Java. It will be at the latest, it could be faster, right? I will take care of it myself," Arif said.
