West Java Regional Secretary Ensures Significant Development of Cisumdawu Toll Road

BANDUNG - West Java Provincial Secretary (West Java Regional Secretary) Iwa Karniwa ensured that the Cisumdawu Toll Road section 1 of Jatinangor-Rancakalong and section 28 of Rancakalong-Sumedang along the 28.80 kilometer portion of the government in the last report showed significant progress.

"Section 1 for land has reached 65.86%, meaning that the construction process has already begun and construction has reached 14.26%," he explained at Gedung Sate, Bandung, Monday (3/25/19) evening.

Whereas section 2 of the Rancakalong-Sumedang section is 17 in length, 35 kilometers currently the final position of land acquisition is 92% and its construction is at 81.71%. "It is expected that the sections I to III will mean Jatinangor, Rancakalong, Sumedang, and Cimalaka in 2019 will be completed. And for the total as a whole it will be completed in 2020, "he said.

Secretary of Iwa ensures that for section 2 the government expects to be able to use the flow of homecoming this year. This is because two twin tunnels have been completed along 471 meters from left to right. "What can be used by the Rancakalong-Sumedang Eid is an alternative [to avoid] Prince Cadas that can be passed, maybe even to Cimalaka because there is a traffic jam," he said.

Although it is not yet considered adequate, it considers that if the two sections are speeded up by the contractor, the possibility of being a homecoming route is very open. "Although it is not adequate but it can be passed it is very helpful if sections II and III are completed during Eid Al-Fitr," said the Regional Secretary.
