BOGOR-President Joko Widodo handed over 5,000 certificates of land rights to residents in Bogor City and Regency, West Java. Submission of this certificate takes place in the Bogor Nirwana Residence parking lot, on Thursday, March 21, 2019.
The President, in his remarks, said that approximately 80 million parcels of land in 2015 did not yet have certificates. Many people also have not managed or obtained a certificate. As a result, land conflicts often occur in many regions.
"Why haven't you held this? Because it used to be complicated," he said.
From the release of the State Secretariat's Press Bureau, therefore, President Joko Widodo along with the relevant ranks sought to make the issuance and processing of certificates easier. The President even set a very high target that must be met by his staff in issuing certificates for the community.
"A year in Indonesia has only produced 500 thousand certificates. This is now why we are speeding up certificates so that there are no disputes," the President said.
Meanwhile, in his speech on the same occasion, Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning Sofyan Djalil said that all land parcels in Bogor City in 2019 would be registered and certified.
"The city of Bogor, God willing, this year we will register one hundred percent of the land," he said.
As for Bogor Regency, Sofyan Djalil conveyed his staff's commitment so that at the latest in 2025 all land parcels in the area will also be certified. (Even)
