BANDUNG - Vice Governor of West Java, Uu Ruzhanul Ulum accompanied by West Java Head of Education Office, Dewi Sartika went to Bandung State High School 19, following a demonstration by parents and students of Bandung State High School 19, on Thursday (28/02).
According to the Vice Governor, the impromptu visit was a form of response from the government to accommodate aspirations and find solutions to problems that occurred at Bandung State High School 19.
Arriving at Bandung State High School at exactly 11:30 a.m., the Vice Governor and Head of Education Office immediately met with the teachers in the teacher's room to listen directly to the problems that triggered the action at the school.
After meeting with the teachers and finding a meeting point, the Vice Governor went straight to the field where the previous action was carried out and asked which students put up banners on the basketball court.
The Vice Governor stated, he expressed his appreciation to students who had admitted putting up banners in the field and asked the students who were installing to immediately drop the banners.
"We have obtained information. We process it. This cannot be decided today. We have to tabboo first," he said.
The Vice Governor asked the school to coordinate in accordance with the existing mechanism, namely through the Branch Regional Office (KCD) of West Java Disdik in the region.
"The education unit must coordinate with the Head of Branch Office and after that it will be reported to the province to get a solution," he said. (Parno)
