BANDUNG, West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil, said that in his leadership for the next five years, he would try to equalize regional development, especially in the southern and eastern regions of West Java.
"In the next five years, I will focus on increasing South West Java which has been lame. One of them is by building a railway line to the South, for logistics, people and tourism," he said at Unpas Bandung, Tuesday (2/26).
He said West Java has beautiful beaches, especially in the South, so that it will become the focus of tourism development in the future. Pangandaran is one of them which will be developed as a special area.
"In the next three months I will fight for the special region of Pangandaran. Initially it was only for tourism, but it was rejected, so I revised it. It will not only be about tourism but its economy and research about the sea," he added.
Meanwhile KKP Minister Susi Pudjiastuti said that the research center and study center would be built in Pangandaran to improve the economy and sea tourism.
"KKP will support the development of the Pangandaran area," he said, who was the keynote speaker at the Sea Earthing talk show at Unpad, Bandung, Tuesday (26/2). Jo
