    Bio Farma Signed the Integrity Pact & Entry Meeting Assessment of GCG Implementation by West Java BPKP

    BANDUNG - All Bio Farma employees carry out the signing of the Integrity Pact related to the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) on Friday 8 February 2019 at the Bio Farma Multipurpose Building. The signing was carried out simultaneously by the President Commissioner of Bio Farma, Farid Wadjdi, and the President Director of Bio Farma, M. Rahman Roestan, and was attended by all commissioners, directors, audit committees, and risk committees, as well as all employees.

    The signing of this Integrity Pact is a commitment of all Bio Farma employees in implementing GCG and is a follow-up of the Decree of the Secretary of the State Ministry of State Enterprise Rl Number: SK-16 / S.MBU / 2012 dated June 6, 2012 concerning Indicators / Parameters for Evaluation and Evaluation of Governance Implementation Good Corporate Governance in State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN).

    According to M. Rahman Roestan, in his remarks at the GCG Entry Meeting Assessment by BPKP West Java, said Bio Farma products have been trusted in 140 countries, and of course they are still a mainstay of the Indonesian government as a vaccine provider for national immunization programs.

    At the moment Bio Farma is being asked to become a Center of Excellence for the field of vaccines and biotechnology in the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and also many cooperation offers from global and domestic partners, this cannot be separated from good GCG. "We from Bio Farma are committed from the Board of Commissioners, Directors, work units to jointly implement good GCG, and Alhamdulillah we can consult and get an assessment from BPKP West Java," Rahman said.

    For information, Bio Farma has been assessed six times assisted and assessed by West Java BPKP for the implementation of GCG, and three times self-assessment with a score that has continued to increase since 2015 with a score of 87, 2016 with a score of 90.49 and 2017 with a score of 90.53.

    Meanwhile, Farid Wadjdi said the results of this GCG assessment would provide added value to advance Bio Farma, and become our guideline for running the company "Our responsibility to apply GCG is not from management but also must be applied by shareholders, commissioners also need applying GCG, the value achieved by the company from the previous year's GCG value, must be a benchmark of what we must do in the future in running Bio Farma's business, "said Farid Wadjdi.
