    Ridwan Kamil: Gedung Pakuan is Open for Everyone


    BANDUNG - West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil stated that his official residence in the Gedung Negara Pakuan, Bandung City, was open to anyone. Because as a governor, he wants to serve and protect all residents of West Java.

    Emil revealed that Ridwan Kamil's nickname when visiting together with the community of women in Bandung Raya was held by Emil with his wife, Atalia Praratya, in Pakuan Building on Wednesday (6/2/19). Also present at the meeting were the wife of the Deputy Governor of West Java, Lina Marlina Ruzhan and the wife of the West Java Regional Secretary, Eli Rosita Karniwa.

    "Our inner mind is too often accommodating or pursuing difference desires. That is what breaks us up this time. That is why I address this, because the Pakuan Building is open to anyone," Emil said in his speech at the gathering.

    "I have been sworn in the name of Allah SWT, that I will protect all citizens of West Java, I will not vote for my voter or not, I will not choose in that area. I win or not," he continued.

    Emil continued, Pakuan Building is a symbol of unity. As the Governor of West Java, he wants to glue all existing groups together to advance West Java as a province of Born Champion and Deputy.

    "O ladies and gentlemen, this Pakuan Building is a symbol of unity. I want to be the Governor who holds everything together, use this opportunity for any kind of gathering," Emil ordered.

    "Then please support the programs that we are preparing. The West Java problem is now inequality," he said.

    For Emil, being the Governor of West Java is a pride and honor for himself and his family. Especially with the various potentials and advantages possessed by Bumi Parahyangan.

    "I am proud and honored to be the Governor of West Java, because the population is very large, almost 50 million people," Emil said.

    Emil added, that the task of a leader is twofold. Being a leader must make the people feel safe and comfortable. In addition, leaders must also be able to bring change to the region and the people they lead.

    "The first requirement, 50 million people must feel amam and comfortable. So, the task of the leader; First, can bring the people feel safe and comfortable. Second, the duty of the leader brings change," he said.
