BANDUNG - Hotel Occupancy Rate (TPK) in West Java in December 2018 reached 60.92 percent, up 0.62 points compared to November 2018 TPK which reached 60.30 percent. Both star and non-star ROR hotels have increased.
The ROR for star hotels in December 2018 was 66.61 percent, up 0.47 points compared to the November 2018 TPK which reached 66.14 percent. The highest TPK according to the December 2018 star hotel class was recorded in 4-star hotels at 75.21 percent, while the lowest TPK occurred in 1-star hotels at 35.79 percent.
The ROR for non-star hotels in December 2018 was 34.66 percent, up 3.84 points compared to November 2018 which was recorded at 30.82 percent. The highest TPK for non-starred hotels occurred in hotels with groups of rooms 10-24 at 37.75 percent. While the lowest non-star hotel ROR of 28.99 percent occurred in hotels with room groups <10.
While the average length of stay of guests in December 2018 star hotels is 1.61 days and in non-star hotels for 1.20 days. Foreign guests stay at star hotels on average for 3.37 days and in non-star hotels for 1.49 days, while guests from Indonesia stay an average of 1.55 days in star hotels and 1.20 days in non-star hotels .
