If Plastic Waste Can Be Gold, Why Not?

BANDUNG - Can plastic waste in West Java become gold? Wow! Yes, that's what West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil said or often called by Kang Emil. According to Kang Emil the program was a collaboration between West Java Provincial Government and PT Pegadaian and had been launched informally in Bekasi some time ago.

"This is a breakthrough where plastic waste can be converted into gold. The method is industrial plastic waste such as beverage bottles, collected and then collected by the waste bank and the results can be exchanged for 0 commas, so many grams of gold," he said at Gedung Sate, Friday (1/2/2019).

According to Kang Emil, the breakthrough is the reduction of plastic waste which is considered to be a lot and becomes waste.

"Yes, in the end, it is reducing plastic waste that is still a lot around us. But with a breakthrough like this, the reduction at the community level is becoming increasingly attractive. People will be able to have capital married to garbage," joked Kang Emil.

On a large scale, it will be launched for all West Java, the plastic waste conversion program will become gold. (Even)
