"This building is very grand. Hopefully this building can be used as a means of education, both worldly education and ukhrawi education (akhira). Why not, if this building is used things with other benefits," said Deputy Governor Uu.

In principle, the West Java Humanitarian Center wants to support government programs in providing access to health, education and humanity specifically for people living in remote areas. With the inauguration of the West Java Humanitarian Center building, it is expected to be a place of humanitarian activities that can help communities around West Java in response to disasters or humanitarian programs.

The West Java Humanitarian Center is also a partner of the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) because West Java Province is in the category of areas prone to natural disasters. So when disaster strikes, assets, crew, logistics owned by the West Java Humanitarian Center will be mobilized to assist BPBD in handling emergency response periods, relief periods and even mitigation.
