    Private College Must Achieve Community Trust With Quality


    BANDUNG - A total of 242 Private Higher Education Leaders (PTS) in West Java and Banten attended the Higher Education Policy and Work Program Coordination Meeting held by the Institute for Higher Education Services (LLDIKTI) Region IV West Java and Banten.

    Head of LLDIKTI Region IV Prof. Dr. Uman Suherman said, the Coordination Meeting is an annual agenda that is routinely held by LLDIKTI Region IV in an effort to facilitate the improvement of the quality of higher education, especially those related to PTS accreditation.

    "The coordination meeting this time we prioritize PTS which has the potential to progress (not yet accredited by universities). Accreditation of higher education is not an obligation, it is the people's trust that must be maintained with the quality possessed by PTS," he said.

    This coordination meeting presented the Chairperson of the Accreditation Board of BAN PT, Prof. Ir. Dwi Wahju Sasongko who discussed the accreditation of universities and accreditation of study programs and the Secretary of the LLDIKTI Region IV, who presented the results of monitoring and evaluation of PTS in 2018.

    In the activity that took place in the LLDIKTI Training Center Region IV Jatinangor Thursday (24/01), the Head of LLDIKTI Region IV delivered the achievements of the Region IV LLDIKTI performance during 2018 followed by the signing of the performance agreement with LLDIKTI Region IV.

    "We hope that the signing of the PTS performance agreement will work optimally to meet the established performance targets which will certainly have a direct impact on improving the quality of higher education," he said. (Parno)
