BANDUNG-Vice Governor of West Java, Deddy Mizwar asserted, there are plenty of creative and performing arts industry in West Java that could be developed to improve the local economy in facing of the Asean free market (MEA).
"Starting from the culinary, fashion, performing arts and it becomes the creative industries that can be more developed," he said.
According to the Vice Governor, the various creative industries and the performing arts that is now ready to compete in a global market can improve the local economy.
"For the performing arts, the city and county governments will continue to improve for the performing arts that exist in each region can be displayed to tourists," he said.
Vice Governor asserted, viewing of the existing potential, the Government of West Java Province was not too worried about the enactment of the MEA which has lasted since the beginning of 2016.
"There are so many opportunities and economic potential in West Java that is able to compete with products from other countries certainly will come into Indonesia, particularly the region of West Java," he said.
