BANDUNG - Hotel Occupancy Rate (TPK) in West Java in November 2018 reached 60.30 percent, up 3.67 points compared to October 2018 TPK which reached 56.63 percent. Both star and non-star ROR hotels have increased.
West Java's Central Statistics Agency (BPS) said that the ROR for star hotels in November 2018 was 66.14 percent, up 3.92 points compared to the October 2018 TPK which reached 62.22 percent. The highest TPK according to the November 2018 star hotel class was recorded at 4-star hotels at 69.45 percent, while the lowest TPK occurred at 1-star hotels at 39.30 percent.
Non-star hotel ROR in November 2018 was 30.82 percent, up 0.62 points compared to October 2018 which was recorded at 30.20 percent. The highest TPK for non-star hotels occurred in hotels with groups of rooms 10-24 at 35.00 percent. While the lowest non-star hotels ROR of 25.91 percent occurred in hotels with groups of rooms above 10 units.
"The average length of stay of guests in November 2018 star hotels is 1.69 days and in non-star hotels for 1.14 days. Foreign guests stay at star hotels on average for 3.46 days and in non-star hotels for 2, 41 days, while guests from Indonesia stayed an average of 1.61 days in star hotels and 1.13 days in non-star hotels, "said Head of BPS West Java Doddy Herlando.
BPS also informed about foreign tourist visits. The arrival of foreign guests through Husein Sastranegara Airport in November 2018 as many as 14,189 people experienced an increase of 2.45 percent compared to October 2018 which recorded 13,850 people.
All tourists who came through the Port of Muarajati Cirebon were all 84 crew members, up 23.53 percent compared to October 2018 which recorded 68 people. jo
