BANTEN-After giving assistance and directly reviewing the condition of the victims at the disaster post and at the H Bob Bazar Hospital, Kalianda, South Lampung, West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil along with his wife, Atalia Praratya and Provincial Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) West Java Dick Saromi landed in Labuan Pandeglang Banten on Thursday (12/27/18).
The group went directly to the West Java Care Post in the offices of Labuan Subdistrict and SD Karanganyar. Emil, the governor's nickname, handed over Rp1 billion in aid for logistics needs given to Pandeglang Regent Irna Narulita and Rp1 billion to Serang Regency Government.
Emil said that this contribution was focused on basic logistics, clothing and other needs. "We also carry logistical assistance, and in Lampung, as in Banten, there are still many (treated) in hospitals, we pray that they will recover and be normal again," he said.
It was revealed that there were some West Java residents who were victims of the tsunami. "There are 60 residents of West Java, there are 7 people who have died. I am sorry and hopefully I can recover (conditions at the site) and we learn from this event, "he said.
On that occasion Emil also invited the refugees to remain strong in facing the disaster. Emil gave one of the trauma healing therapies by inviting children and mothers to sing along with Halo-halo Bandung songs. Emil also took the time to fulfill the request to give the name of a newborn baby from Suryani (18) and gave the name Zaidan Kamil Galaputra.
Emil advised all the victims, to be patient because Allah SWT is testing us all. "God willing, we have passed all the tests," he said.
Pandeglang Regent Irna Narulita felt grateful for the presence of the Governor of West Java. "I, in the name of the Pandeglang community, thank you very much, where the Governor and Mother have come all the way, we all ask for prayer. Thank you very much, may Allah SWT reply, "he said.
