    Kodam III / Siliwangi Helps Victims of the Sunda Strait Tsunami

    BANDUNG - A total of 1580 Kodam III / Siliwangi soldiers spread in the Cinangka and Labuhan Prov. Regions.     Kapendam III / Siliwangi Colonel Arh G. Hasto said, the Kodam III / Siliwangi warriors continued to try to help and evacuate survivors and those who had died in 4 disaster locations, namely in Pandeglang, Anyer, Labuan and Tanjung Lesung.

    "Along the coast of Tanjung Lesung, especially Carita and Labuan Beaches are quite affected and Kodam III / Siliwangi Warriors, shoulder to shoulder to provide assistance in tackling disasters caused by the tsunami," he said.

    According to Hasto, Kodam III / Siliwangi troops deployed to cope with the tsunami disaster were in the areas of Labuan (2 SSK), 1 SSK Dim 0601 / Pdg, Yonif 310 / KK, Infantry Battalion 312 / KH Yonif 320 / BP, and 1 Team Denkes Serang Medical.

    Furthermore, for the Cinangka region (4 SST), 2 SST Dim 0623 / Clg, 1 SST Dim 0602 / Srg and Denkes Attack the Military District III / SLW, 1 Denkes Serang Health Team consisting of 1 Doctor, 2 nurses, 2 Health, 1 driver and 1 ambulance, in collaboration with the district health office.

    Hasto stated, Kodam III / Siliwangi also alerted 2 teams from Dustira Hospital to consist of 1 orthopedic specialist, 1 Anesthesia specialist, 2 general practitioners, 4 nurses, 2 patients, 2 drivers and 2 ambulances.
