BANDUNG - Deputy chairman of House Commission X Abdul Kharis Almasyhari reaffirmed its commitment to continue to fight for the Operational Costs State University (BOPTN) budget in 2016 shouldn’t be decrease or at least equal to the last year, amounted to 4.9 trillion rupiah.
"Because if BOPTN budget was down, it will have an impact on tuition increases that would burden the students," said PKS Legislator in a press release received jabarprov.go.id, Tuesday (15/3).
In a press release explained, the House Commission X was received in audience of several students who are members of the Legislature Student Forum Indonesia (FL2MI) at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta.
In these forum, students from 34 (thirty-four) provinces submitted complaints, ranging from management of fund college to scholarships management which not on targets.
They also are asking for their support, escort and attention the government and Parliament to the works of the nation's children in the country.
Kharis will convey the aspirations of students related to management transparency of the college fund.
"Aspirations of these students will soon be conveyed to the relevant ministry, in this case Kemenristekdisti," he said.
