Contract of Sale and Purchase 1 (one) unit of CN295 Aircraft and 1 (one) unit of Bell 412EP Helicopter, Number: KJB / 02 / KSA.2011 / IX / 2015 signed on September 21, 2015, between the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia and PTDI.
Submission of the CN295 aircraft has been carried out on September 7, 2018 or four months earlier with the Ahead of Time status from the delivery target written on the contract, namely January 2019.
Whereas 1 (one) unit of BELL 412EP helicopter which was officially opened today was conducted seven months earlier with the Ahead of Time status from the delivery target written on the contract, namely July 2019.
The sale and purchase contract is a form of appreciation and trust in the Republic of Indonesia Air Police towards PTDI products. The Republic of Indonesia Air Force has previously operated NC212-200 aircraft, helicopter BO105, BELL 412SP, BELL 412EP.
In his remarks, the National Police Chief said that after 1 month of submission, the CN295 aircraft had become a personnel and logistic transport tool that was very helpful for earthquake victims in Lombok and Central Sulawesi.
The BELL 412EP helicopter is a medium class helicopter from the industrial collaboration between PTDI and Bell Helicopter Textron Inc.
The helicopter is capable of carrying 15 people with details, 1 pilot and 14 passengers. The BELL 412EP helicopter features a Pratt & Whitney PT6T-9 engine with EEC / ECU 1,110 SHP, an upgraded engine for better power and performance with a maximum speed of 122 knots with a distance of up to 364 NM.
The BELL 412EP avionics helicopter system uses the Garmin GTN-750 NAV / COM / WAAS GPS, which has the best flexibility and configuration of the avionics system according to customer needs and operations.
With the delivery of the helicopter BELL 412EP completing the CN295 aircraft that had been previously delivered, it is expected to improve the performance of the Republic of Indonesia Air Police in every operation of the Air Police.
