PANGANDARAN - The Central Government through President Joko Widodo believes that Indonesia can become the fifth strongest economy in the world in the next 2045 with the capital of Natural Resources (SEA) and the Human Resources (HR) currently in its possession.
Based on calculations from the World Bank and the National Development Planning Agency (Bappenas), Indonesia could enter the top 10 strongest economies in the world by 2030 if conditions continue to improve.
The Governor of West Java, Mochamad Ridwan Kamil stated, towards this direction towards Indonesia Emas 2045, the need for support to increase economic growth throughout the provinces in Indonesia including West Java is at least 5 percent.
"2045 Indonesia Gold, economic growth must be more than 5%, and regions with less than 5% will get special attention from the governor," said the Governor, in KOPDAR_GWPP in the Priangan Region of West Java Province, at Pantai Indah Timur Resort, Pangandaran, Wednesday (28/11).
Therefore according to the Governor, he asked the regions to simplify the licensing process for investors who would invest their capital in areas in West Java.
With a stable economic growth in the range of 5 to 6 percent per year, the population's income will reach US $ 29 thousand per capita, so that, by 2045, Indonesia's Gross Domestic Growth (GDP) can reach US $ 9.1 trillion. (Parno)
