BANDUNG BARAT REGENCY-Chairman of the PKK Driving Team West Java Province Atalia Praratya officially confirmed as the Mother of West Java PAUD. He was inaugurated directly by the Assistant of the Government of Law and Social Welfare of the Regional Secretariat of West Java Province Dadi Iskandar in Horse Riding Tourism, Haji, Tani Mulya Ngamprah, Kab. West Bandung, Friday (11/23/18).
Atalia hopes that early childhood children will get teaching that is suitable for growth and development, so that whatever is given to children remains in sufficient portions without burdening them. In this case, he and his partner Early Childhood Education (PAUD) consisting of Himpaudi, IGTKI, IGRA and others will continue to support Indonesian children to be smart, cheerful, creative and noble.
"We hope that they will get teaching in accordance with their growth and development. How can they remain cheerful, they play while learning in such a way that whatever is given is truly complete but does not burden them," Atalia said.
This event is coupled with the Launching of the Pre-Prepared Scout Pilot, in the context of Strengthening Character Education in PAUD units. According to Atalia, this is very important to improve character in early childhood.
"So this is a very important thing for us to continue to strengthen the character of early childhood, how they can be strong to face all future challenges," he added.
Director of Early Childhood Education Development Ministry of Education and Culture Muhammad Hasbi said this activity could show that all elements in West Java Province had deeply understood the importance of investing in the field of Early Childhood Education (PAUD).
"This has been very much in line with policies at the global and national level. At the global level, early childhood education is placed as the most strategic issue in an effort to build a better world in the future," he said
While at the national level, based on Government Regulation (PP) Number 2 of 2018 concerning Minimum Service Standards (SPM), the Government has established several policy instruments to prioritize early childhood education.
"This means that Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is as compulsory as Elementary and Secondary School education, and is valid from January 1, 2019," concluded Hasbi.
