BANDUNG-Located in the hall of the West Java Education Office Rajiman Street Bandung, the West Java GAMAS Ajengan School Entrance Movement program began to be socialized on Thursday (11/22/2018).
The originator of the program, Deputy Governor of West Java Uu Ruzanul Ulum, immediately socialized it in the presence of school principals and other educational devices.
"It is expected that with Gamas it can improve the morals of students who have been declining so far," said Uu.
According to Uu, Gamas will not eliminate existing religious studies, because religious lessons cannot be eliminated which have already been included in the national curriculum.
"Gamas will be a complement and reinforcer of existing religious studies. Because religious studies are only 2 hours of study is not enough," said Uu.
In practice later, according to Uu, the ajengan or Kyai will go to class like other teachers. The ajengan school entry movement program is planned to begin in the upcoming school year 2019. (Even)
