BANDUNG - For the first time Gedung Sate held a festival called 'Gedung Sate Festival'. West Java Regional Secretary Iwa Karniwa in his opening remarks stressed that the Gedung Sate or FGS Festival was the new name of De Syukron's helatan which was held first every anniversary of West Java Province in August.
"It used to be called De Syukron, now after being evaluated by friends at the Disparbud, it has now been changed to the Gedung Sate Festival," he said at Gedung Sate on Friday (11/16/2018).
At the Gedung Sate Festival there is a culinary bazaar, crafts, entertainment and others. People are welcome to come to enjoy the festival held on November 16-17.
"Please come, this is indeed an event for the community, this is our offering," he said.
Iwa hopes the Gedung Sate Festival can increase West Java's future tourism passion, with agendas remaining like that.
"This is an event to promote tourism too. Thank God this year the target of tourist arrivals of the archipelago is reached by as many as 58 million people. With the agenda like this festival, it is expected to continue to increase," lid Iwa. (Even)
