    Kodam III / Siliwangi Deployed the Team to Help Evacuate Victims of the Fall of Lion Air

    BANDUNG-Kodam III / Siliwangi will deploy a team to assist the National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) in evacuating victims of the crash of the Lion Air JT 610 aircraft in Tanjung Karawang, on Monday (29/10) yesterday morning.

    Kasdam III / Siliwangi Brigadier General Nurchahyanto, M.Sc. said, to assist the Basarnas in the process of evacuating the victims of the fall of the Lion Air JT 610 aircraft, the first was the evacuation team from Infantry Battalion 305 and the Kodim.

    "We from the Kodam III / Siliwangi element will help the National Army, we prepare the evacuation team from Infantry Battalion 305 and Kodim," explained Kasdam, when visiting the crash site of the Lion Air JT 610 aircraft in Tanjung Karawang, Monday (29/10).

    According to Kasdam, in addition to lowering the evacuation team, his party will also join National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) to conduct a search along the surface on the coast, possibly causing the debris to be carried away by patrolling and assisting the slope area.

    'If needed, this place is ready for evacuation and so on. Because if you don't clear the area, it won't be orderly. We have also ordered all the Dandim who have along this coast line to help conduct searches when fragments are found to the Patrol Team at the Command Post, "he said.

    Kasdam explained, for evacuation, Kodam III / Siliwangi had prepared 5 ambulance units with their crew, doctors and nurses and equipment in them.

    "We also prepare tents, prepare Command Posts and equipment that we hold to support the activities of the evacuation process carried out by the Basarnas, essentially we back up the Basarnas," he said. (Parno)
