BANDUNG-Synergy 4 State-owned Enterprises Railway (BUMN) is present at The Philippine Railway Modernization and Expansion Summit 2018 held on stairs 24-25 October 2018 in the Grand Ballroom Solaire, Manila, Philippines.
As stated in the release of PT Len's PR, with this synergy, BUMN can move together to penetrate the market to neighboring countries, starting from the Philippines. The four BUMN are Len Industri, INKA, Kereta Api Indonesia and Waskita Karya are members of IRDC or the Indonesia Railway Development Consortium.
The Minister of Transportation of the Philippines, Arthur Tugade received a Synergy Visit of the State-owned Railway Company IRDC (25/10). Len Industri Managing Director Zakky Gamal Yasin, INKA President Director Budi Noviantoro, Indonesian Railroad Managing Director Edi Sukmoro, 1 Len Industri Operations Director Linus Andor Sijabat and Waskita Karya Directors represented by Daniel Liman attended the event coordinating on the development of railway networks in The Philippines.
The first day of The 201ine 2018 Modernization and Expansion Summit was opened by Senator, Grace L. Poe and the second day by Under Secretary for Railway Ministry of Transportation, Timothy John Batan.
In the international event, IRDC carried the theme "Providing Total Solution for Railway Projects". For PT Len Industri itself there are 2 important missions, the first being the Railway System Integrator Regional Total which has a competitive advantage in proven engineering and products. Secondly, as a strategic partner to provide railroad system solutions in the regional market.
PT Len Industri's Managing Director Zaky Gamal Yasin said Len was one of the parties who contributed to the successful development of Urban Transport in Indonesia and continued to strive to penetrate the regional market.
"We always develop the latest technology as implemented for rail-based transportation in Indonesia," he said.
The Phillipine Railway Modernization and Expansion Summit 2018 is one of the International scale exhibitions covering railroad technology and investment. Then a discussion forum was also held to form new strategies and technologies that could help build modern infrastructures and railways in the Philippines where the conditions of progress were almost similar to that of Indonesia today.
The railroad signaling technology product made by Len Industri, the Interlocking Len-02 System version, in addition to being certified by the Ministry of Transportation, also received an award from the government in the 2012 Industrial Technology Pilot event, 2012 BUMN Award, 2013 Innovation Award, 2017 and the latest Science and Technology Award currently in in the 2018 ASEAN Engineering Award nomination which will be announced soon in November in Singapore.
In addition to having their own railroad signaling system product, now the 27-year-old company in October as an BUMN, also offers services such as: Application & Systems Engineering and Design, Procurement & Manufacturing, Installation, Construction, Testing & Commissioning, Maintenance and Training.
