BANDUNG - Governor of West Java, Mochamad Ridwan Kamil expressed his opinion on 2 (two) Draft Regional Regulations (Raperda) initiative of West Java Provincial DPRD at the West Java Provincial Regional Parliament (DPRD) Plenary Meeting, which took place in the West Java DPRD Plenary Room on Monday (10/22).
Two draft regulations initiated by the West Java Provincial Parliament, namely the Draft Regulation on Entrepreneurship and the Draft Regional Regulation on Non-Smoking Areas and the Implementation of Safeguards of Addictive Substances in the Form of Tobacco Products for Health.
The governor stated that he welcomed the proposed West Java Provincial DPRD initiative for the 2 (two) Regulations, with the hope that the two Raperda could contain material needed by the West Java community and could solve existing problems, be implemented and accountable.
"This is important because the development of legal substance in the region is a comprehensive concept that becomes the common goal and all stakeholders of regional law development," he said.
The governor expects, with the existence of these 2 Draft Regulations, in the future there will be coordination between all stakeholders in the preparation of regional legal products, while paying close attention to the substance of the regulation so as not to overlap and there is no inconsistency with the regulations.
"Coordination is important before we develop regional legal products so that later they will not overlap," he concluded. (Parno)
