BANDUNG-PT Len Industri in collaboration with PT Inti which is a synergy program of BUMN providing assistance to disaster victims in Palu and Donggala in Central Sulawesi in the form of solar mini lights.
PT Len Industri's Corporate Communications Manager, Doni Gunawan said, 300 units of solar mini lights will be installed in a number of areas which until now have not been touched by PLN due to the earthquake and tsunami.
"Today the Baruna Jaya ship arrived in Balikpapan, followed by the team to Palu for 12 hours. In Palu we will hand over the goods to the appointed state-owned enterprises (BUMN) coordinator, PT Telkom," he said.
Doni hoped that the assistance of 300 units of solar mini lights with a value of Rp 200 million could help electricity lighting and electricity needs on a small scale, such as for some hanging lamps and charging cell phone batteries.
"For the distribution, we will submit it to PT Telkom, but especially for regions that have not been electrified due to the disaster," said Doni, at PT Len Industri on Monday (10/08). (Parno)
