BANDUNG-PT PLN (Persero) West Java Distribution Main Unit (UID West Java) sends an emergency response team to assist the work of PLN personnel are working hard to restore electricity infrastructure in the disaster areas of Palu and Donggala. The release of the West Java UID Pasundan Emergency Response Team was held on Tuesday (2/10) night at the Office of the Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3) Bandung, Jalan Soekarno Hatta No. 436.
The number of personnel departed to Palu and Donggala as many as 140 people divided into 3 waves. Each wave consisted of the task force commander, vice task force commander, officer representative from the UID office and technical officers consisting of Workers in Voltage Work (PDKB) and the Pasopati team.
PLN General Manager of West Java Distribution Main Unit Iwan Purwana conveyed our steps to show our solidarity as PLN personnel, as a humanitarian measure and help accelerate the recovery of electricity in Palu City and its surroundings.
"We are confident this electricity grid recovery will provide a domino effect for recovery in other related sectors and certainly beneficial for residents affected by the earthquake and tsunami," concluded Iwan.
Departure is done in 3 waves, each wave will be assigned for 2 weeks. Delivery of Emergency Response Team The first wave of traffic was carried out through Soekarno Hatta Airport to Makassar.
Meanwhile the delivery of cars and technical equipment as well as some teams were carried out by sea through the Surabaya port on 4 October 2018. In addition to the officers, a number of important materials were also sent to recover the network such as 12 generators, cables, insulators, 5 cars in a state of work (PDKB), 10 Pasopati cars for maintenance of electricity networks, and others.
