    West Java Will Send Aid to Central Sulawesi


    BANDUNG - Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil, on behalf of the Provincial Government and West Java residents expressed their condolences for the earthquake and tsunami that occurred in several regions in Central Sulawesi Province. Assistance will be sent there tomorrow.

    "We are in the name of the government and the people of West Java, of course, very grieving, expressing condolences to many victims of this disaster," said Emil, Ridwan Kamil's nickname when met at Gedung Sate, Jl. Diponegoro No. 22, Bandung City, Saturday (29/9/18).

    The plan of hercules plane from Bandung will send initial assistance in the form of logistics for the refugees. Such assistance such as blankets, pillows, clothes well, and so on.

    "Tomorrow there will also be a flight of hercules fly with assistance from Bandung. Some initial assistance is being coordinated, "explained Emil.

    Emil said in the near future his side would raise funds and assistance for emergency response. According to Emil, West Java will continue to help fellow countrymen affected by the disaster including Lombok and Sumbawa.

    "We cannot only rely on central government assistance. West Java is a good person, very empathetic. We help will be consistent including we continue to help Lombok and Sumbawa too. That is the spirit of the people of West Java, "said Emil.

    In addition, Emil added that his party had sent a four-member team as the governor's initial team. This team will be tasked with mapping emergency response conditions there.

    "I have sent four people there as the initial governor's team, to map emergency response conditions," he continued.
