    Proud, Emil Launching Book "Reaching the Archipelago Sky"

    BANDUNG-A trike flight pilot from Bandung, West Java, Saleh Sudrajat conducted an expedition to explore the Nusantara skyline from Sabang to Merauke in 2008. This event was also written in a book entitled "Reaching the Nusantara Sky" written by Dyan Nuranindya and Wanadri Team.

    Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil directly launched the book in the West Hall of Gedung Sate, Jl. Diponegoro No. 22, Bandung City, Saturday afternoon (29/9/18).

    Saleh, or his nickname called Kang Usol, flew for 37 days. Starting from May 15, 2008 from Sabang and completed in Merauke on June 17, 2008 with a distance of 6,422 km. The Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) also recorded him as the First Solo Aviator from Sabang to Merauke.

    Emil, Ridwan Kamil's nickname, felt proud and touched with Kang Usol did. According to Emil, it requires courage and energy because it cannot be done by everyone.

    "I am, as a person currently leading West Java, feels proud for one of our citizens can carry out a thing that cannot be done by everyone," Emil said in his speech during the book.

    "It takes courage, requires energy, the name is aspirations. So, I'm very proud, I'm very moved, "he continued.

    Emil said, what Saleh did had a message for us, anyone who has the determination and aspirations will be able to make it happen as long as there is intention and strength. In addition, this book is expected to read by every generation of West Java to be busy pursuing achievements.

    "Busy to pursue positive goals for life is full of stories and benefits," hoped Emil.

    "I remind the West Javanese youth that our enemy is ourselves. "Excessive laziness, ignorance, shortsightedness and bigotry become positive things," he continued.
