    Emil Targeted West Java Regional National Craft Council to Open Shops in Jakarta and Bali


    BANDUNG-Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil targets in the next two years, the Regional National Craft Council (Dekranasda) of West Java Province can open stores in major malls in Jakarta and Bali. It is a marketing strategy for the superior products of the creative industry in West Java.

    "Don't just be able to produce, but can't market it. So, I will  monitor how the handicrafts, these creativity products are sold out and successful on the market, "said Emil, in his nickname, during the Inauguration of the West Java Dekranasda Board and Members of the PKK West Java Province 2018-2023 Service Period, in the West Hall Gedung Sate Bandung, Wednesday (19/9/18).

    Emil said, the definition of Dekranasda's success is not from the number of exhibitions held, so the step to open this shop indicates that West Java Dekranasda not only using a behind-the-scenes strategy, but also a direct strategy ahead.

    "I will not judge Dekranasda often exhibits as a measure of success. I measure how many Dekranasda stores are present at special points, "Emil said.

    "I targeted two, the first in Jakarta malls, and the second one opened a shop in Bali," he continued.

    Emil revealed, the target of opening this store would be completed in two years. If it has been realized, the target will be raised by opening a foreign store maximum in the fifth year.
