BANDUNG- Towards of the Legislative Election and Presidential Election stages, the West Java Regional Police held a briefing for the title of the Mantap Brata Lodaya Operation Force 2018 in the Gasibu Bandung field on Wednesday (19/9/18). The Briefing led by West Java Police Chief Inspector General Agung Budi Maryoto and Commander III Siliwangi Maj. Gen. Great Harto Employees were also witnessed by Vice-Governor of West Java Uu Ruzhanul Ulum.
Vice-Governor Uu said, the briefing was held to provide a sense of calm and comfort to the public during the upcoming Pileg and Pilpres on the April, 17, 2019 and during the campaign period.
"With this briefing, it will provide peace and comfort for the people about the Pileg and Pilpres later," said Uu.
The campaign candidates for members of the DPR, DPD, DPRD and the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Candidates begin on September 23, 2018 until April 13, 2019. Vice-Governor Uu is optimistic during this phase the stages will run safely and smoothly entire West Java. He looked at the previous democratic party was conducive because of the polite and religious culture of West Java.
"I am sure in West Java it will be safe as usual," said Uu.
The appeal was also addressed to politicians and their supporters to build a relationship of 'silaturahmi' even though different parties. This is to maintain conduciveness in West Java well.
"We appeal to politicians to build a strong relationship even though different parties, insya allah won't happen undesirable things," he said.
Uu also guarantees the neutrality of the ASN.
Meanwhile, West Java Police Chief Inspector General of Police Agung Budi Maryoto said, for security during the Pileg and Pilpres their side had 22,500 personnel consisting of 14500 police and 8,000 from the Siliwangi Military Command III. Agung said, the security pattern he did would adjust to the KPU's activity schedule.
"Our security pattern will adjust to the activities first. But looking it from the previous campaign, most of it is 'blusukan' and on Social Media too," said Agung.
To oversee campaign activities with social media, it has prepared a West Java Regional Police cyber team. They will patrol in cyberspace. If you find content that leads to the element of hate speech and slander, it will be directly legal.
