BANDUNG-RI Minister of Trade (Mendag) Enggartiarso Lukita appealed to students to be ready to face the challenges of the industrial revolution era 4.0.
This was conveyed by the Indonesian Minister of Trade when giving a public lecture at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia Education, Bandung, Friday (9/14/2018).
The Minister of Trade is optimistic, the younger generation, especially students, are able to face the changes in the 4.0 industrial revolution, because they generally have good science and technology.
In addition, students must immediately adapt to any technological changes that are currently happening in the country.
"Facing the 4.0 industrial revolution they must be prepared and adapt to technological changes. Usually young people are smarter," he said.
In the general lecture, Enggar shared his experience while serving as the Indonesian Minister of Trade. He hopes students will be better prepared to face the 4.0 industrial revolution.
"The innovation and adaptation of the young generation is linked to government policies, especially in the economic field," he said.
Enggar who is also a UPI Bandung alumnus also expressed his deepest gratitude to UPI. The reason is, the campus has provided knowledge to itself so that it can share knowledge and experience with students.
"One of the UPI programs is printing teachers, there is also business accounting etc. I feel indebted to those who raised me. So, I want to convey what we can do," he explained. Jo
