BANDUNG - The West Java Provincial Government has received certainty regarding the schedule for the inauguration of the 6 regional heads of the 2018 Simultaneous Regional Election results.

West Java Regional Secretary Iwa Karniwa said his party today had received a decree from the Ministry of home affairs regarding the inauguration of the first wave of elected regional heads from the Pilkada results in 16 regions. "We have received the letter, the schedule has already been decided on Thursday, September 20," he said in Gedung Sate, Bandung, Friday (9/14/2018).

The six regional heads included Bekasi City, Bandung City, Sukabumi City, West Bandung Regency, Purwakarta Regency, and Sumedang Regency. According to him, with the certainty of the schedule, he immediately prepares. "There is certainty, so we just have to prepare," he said.

From the initial plan, the possibility of the inauguration will be held at Gedung Merdeka and led directly by the West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil. Because of shifting, specifically the city of Bandung, Iwa ensured that the Mayor would be appointed even if only four days. "It is possibly that the daily parliament is Mr. Solihin, again," he said.

West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil also confirmed that the inauguration would take place on Thursday, September 20. "It's Thursday [September 20]," he said.

Initially he wanted the inauguration to be held on Saturday (9/15/2018) or  next Sunday (09/16/2018) because one of them is that there is not need for the inauguration of the daily parliament mayor of Bandung.

"If on the 20th, I have to appoint the daily parliament, who is only four days old, after which he has to appoint [the definitive mayor], in terms of complicated administration," he said. (Pun)
