    Governor Expects Budget Expenditure Changes to Be Immediately Executed

    BANDUNG-Governor of West Java M. Ridwan Kamil stated, there were 7 important issues raised in the drafting of the Regional Expenditure Budget Draft (RAPBD) Amendments to the 2018 fiscal year.

    "There are several important issues raised in the amendment to the APBD in the 2018 fiscal year, among others;
    1. Fulfillment of funding for Universal Secondary Education (PMU); 2. Providing scholarships to poor and high achieving students; 3. Land acquisition for the Cikembar Airport development plan in Sukabumi Regency; 4. Payment of land tax and building (UN) of West Java International Airport (BIJB) to Majalengka Regency; 5. Land acquisition for State Islamic University (UIN) in Indramayu; 6. Fulfillment and support of funding for new centers (UPTD) as a follow-up to the transfer of authority in accordance with law no. 23 of 2014; and 7. Equity participation in BJB.

    According to the Governor, in addition to the above, the General Amendment Policy (KUP) of the APBD as well as the Temporary Budget Priority and Ceiling (PPAS) Amendments to the APBD of the 2018 fiscal year still provide budget support for the fulfillment of the education function of 20 percent of total expenditure and health functions by 10 percent of total expenditure minus employee salaries.

    "With the approval of the KUP APBD and PPAS documents for the 2018 fiscal year, I hope that the submission of the draft APBD Regional Regulation for 2018 can be immediately implemented, to be discussed, and reviewed between the DPRD and TAPD, so that the APBD amendments can be agreed upon immediately. in the near future, so that programs and activities can be implemented optimally, "he said.
