    The Bandung Institute of Technology Organized the ITB CEO NET & Technopreneuship Festival 2018


    BANDUNG-ITB plans the development of the Science and Technology Zone (KST / STP) as an innovation ecosystem. Currently the ITB Innovation Park Ganesha building infrastructure facility is being built as a hub of innovation research activities and the development of entrepreneurship in order to realize ITB as a reliable Entrepreneurial University.

    Chairman of LPIK-ITB Sigit Puji Santosa said to make KST / STP as an innovation ecosystem, stakeholders need to develop understanding of the role of stakeholders and put in a position in accordance with their role to produce innovation synergies.

    "One of the networking activities for the synergy of academics, industry, and stakeholders is to hold an ITB-CEO Net & Entrepreneurship Festival forum, which has been held every year starting in 2015," he said in the West Hall of ITB, Tuesday (18/09/2018 )

    Collaboration to encourage knowledge exchange between universities, industry, government and society will be the engine of innovation and economic movement of a nation. Collaboration between these stakeholders is realized through the development of communication so that the exchange of information on knowledge and mutual trust is built to encourage innovation collaboration.

    Therefore, ITB organized a seminar with the theme "Orchestrating Innovation Ecosystem through the Science and Technology Zone (KST / STP)", with the aim of finding complementary compositions to produce harmonization of the Science and Technology Region (KST) / (Science and Technological Park (STP) can be the initial stage to build innovation collaborations.

    KST / STP can be developed into research and innovation centers and conduct business incubation, startup companies, company spinoffs and entrepreneurial development opportunities. (jo)
