BANDUNG – Collaboration between PT Pindad (Persero) and PT Rekayasa Engineering which is a subsidiary of PT Rekayasa Industri (Rekind), which engages in engineering services to launch Automatic Hygienic Cooking Oil Filling Machine (AMH-o).
The launch took place at the Kresna Building, Pindad Headquarters in Bandung was attended by the Indonesian Minister of Trade Enggartiasto Lukita, Deputy of Mining Business, Strategic Industry and Media (PISM) Ministry of BUMN Fajar Harry Sampurno, and dozens of representatives of cooking oil producers in Indonesia to show the industry domestically able to produce quality cooking oil.
"This launch is a follow-up to the signing of the MoU in the field of roduction and sales which was held on August 16, 2018 ago." said PT Pindad President Director Abraham Mose.
Cooperation in the framework of the synergy of BUMN has given birth to a machine designed in addition to maintaining the hygiene of retail cooking oil and reducing the use of plastic bags and increasing the margin of retailers. AMH-o's initial design concept was made by RE and refined by Pindad who was experienced in making non-military equipment through the Industrial Business Directorate.
Abraham Mose said this synergy can be useful to help the Government produce hygienic oil and give any benefit to the citizens.
"This synergy is a milestone to able make a products that can help the Government how to make hygienic oil platforms and have many benefits, especially for the citizens. This is good cooperation, "Abraham said.
Pindad has an Industrial Business Directorate beside to Defense and Security has the ability to provide production facilities, assembly facilities, qualified human resources, and assembly, production.
The reliability of Pindad to carry out the production process need not be questioned because the Directorate of Industrial Business able to produce various heavy equipment products such as excavators, agricultural machinery, marine equipment, railway infrastructure, generators, electric motors and forging products.
AMH-o is made to fulfill the Republic of Indonesia's Minister of Trade Regulation number 9 / MDAG / PER / 2/2016 that requires the distribution of bulk cooking oil using simple packaging bags. AMH-o's work system is to distribute cooking oil in 18 or 25 liter jerrycans in accordance with the Manufacturers trademark into a packaging bag in several doses ranging from 250, 500 to 1,000 ml, through a filling oil system consisting of pumps, flexible pipes, solenoid valves and flow meter.
All components in AMH-o was reached food grade standards. AMH-o operation is controlled by a microcomputer to ensure measurement accuracy. The microcomputer embedded in AMH-o is an electronic display board that has several buttons that are easy to operate (user friendly). jo
