BANDUNG-West Java Governor, Mochamad Ridwan Kamil, visited the office of the West Java Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), on Jalan L.L.RE. Martadinata No.105, Cihapit, Bandung, Friday (14/09/2018).
The arrival of Emil, his nickname, was welcomed by the Head of the West Java MUI, Rachmat Syafei, along with the staff. At the gathering, the 10 West Java Champion of Birth Born programs were harmonized with the on going work programs of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) in West Java.
"Alhamdulillah, the first organization I visited was the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI), I asked for guidance for five years, how to manage West Java as Governor from the perspective of good religiosity," said Emil.
Emil confessed personally that he would commit that any problems would be faced while he was Governor, especially related to public relations, he would consult the MUI before making a decision.
"Incidentally here is the place of people who are knowledgeable. So with the science of scholars, the fairness of leaders, it will give birth to a just and prosperous society," he said.
The 10 programs that Emil will run to reach West Java Inner Birth Champion include, Pesantren Local Regulation, Maghrib Mengaji, dawn prayer Together, Digital Zakat, 1 islamic boarding school 1 business, English Language Training for Ulama, Digital Da'wah, 1 Village 1 Hafidz, MTQ Champion, Credit Amorous.
While a number of MUI programs will be supported by Emil, among others, Secretariat Renovation, Ulama Cadre Education Program, Preparation of Da'wah Maps and Eradication of Heresy, Socialization of the Da'wah, and Implementation Guidelines for West Java towards Halal Province.
"We commit there are MUI programs that we will help, and vice versa, will support each other," he said.
"I believe that if this is supported by good communication, then the 'ending' of 2023 Jabar Inner Born Champion will be an example," he said.
