BANDUNG-Suspected TS, Bogor's citizens, transfers the contents of 3 kilograms of LPG or commonly called melon gas into a gas cylinder 12 kilograms and 50 kilograms.
As a result of his actions, the suspect was charged under Article 53 of Law Number 20 of 2016 concerning Commerce, Processing, Transportation and Storage of Oil and Gas. He is threatened with imprisonment for up to four years.
Criminal Investigation Director of the West Java Regional Police, Sr. Comr. Samudi explained the suspected carried out with injecting the contents of melon gas into tubes measuring 12 kg and 50 kg, at his residence in Kampung Parung RT 02/11, Bojong Kulur Village, Kecamatan Gunung Putri, Bogor Regency.
"So, to fill a gas size of 50 kilograms, the concerned requires 17 melon gas cylinders, and for the 12 kilograms, 4 melon gas cylinders are needed," he told reporters at the West Java Regional Police Headquarters on Monday (09/10/2018).
Samudi said the suspect bought 100 3 kg gas cylinders. As such, the person obtains significant benefits. Samudi said that the suspected's initial capital spent about Rp 1.9 million.
"So, the profit obtained by the person from LPG is Rp. 72 million," he concluded. (Pun)
