BANDUNG-On "5 Year Project CSR Jabar 2011-2016" at Gedung Sate Bandung, West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the participation of entrepreneurs through his company, which has donated funds Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) , to accelerate the development of West Java.
According to Aher development in West Java not only have to rely on APBN and APBD. Direct participation of society, especially among employers is required, as a form of social value for the sake of social solidarity to help stimulate the economy and other community groups.
"I would like to thank you on behalf of the people of West Java related to the participation in taking care of the community in West Java. For companies through CSR, who has social responsibility to the community to build the social solidarity,” said Aher.
Education, health, economic, environmental development and alternative energy are a number aspects of regional development who participated into Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program. To that end, the Provincial Government through the Provincial Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of West Java was together harmoniously synergic cooperation with the business community in West Java, in order to these benefits of CSR can directly benefit to the community.
"A company reached the peak of its prowess where its benefits are not only divided among stakeholders only, thereby creating stakeholder value. But at the same time the great company was presented by creating the social value, which is beneficial for the community. The company set aside a budget for many people, in the form of CSR,” he said on Wednesday (03/02/2016).
Accelerated development is required as a condition for the progress of the nation to achieve a prosperous society and social justice. The success of development can not be separated from the performance of economy.
West Java is the province with great economy. Data shows that there are three sectors contributing in the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP), where the largest in West Java. Firstly, the manufacturing sector, which contributes to the GDP amounted to 46.3% with the absorption of labor by 22%. Secondly, trade, hotels and restaurants with a GDP contribution of 23.1%, and 26.9% of labor absorption. Thirdly, the agricultural sector amounted to 12.2%, with 26.4% of labor absorption.
West Java also has a number of companies as many as 6,052 of the 24 industry groups scattered in West Java, both based industrial zones and non-industrial zones. The investment in the business world to be important for development in West Java.
Through investment practices and social responsible business, a company will benefit both economically oriented, social and environmental. This is then in accordance with the concept of 'Jabar MASAGI'.
There is a transformation of a triple helix 'triangle - ABG (Academician, Business and Government), by developing a CSR partnership as a social investment from the private sector to participate in the development of West Java. Then the following four main pillars of development, the Academician, Business, Community, and Government (ABCG) and one node laws and regulation with ABCG patterns stakeholders.
So the Inauguration of Jointly CSR Projects of Business Partnership in West Java 2015 can also be considered as an appreciation and recognition of West Java province, to the company that has contributed and successfully run a CSR program activities, and have synergy with government programs, Bappeda of West Java Province.
This year, Aher said CSR funds that have been collected and will be distributed through a variety of programs are as much as Rp 100.5 billion, which comes from 55 companies. The target, CSR funds collected this year to reach is Rp 150 billion.
"We continue to coordinate with them. The number of company which implement CSR in 2016 there were 77 companies, which have been underreported 55 companies with the value of Rp 100.5 billion. So there's more companies yet reported, hopefully the rest of it would reached around the 50 company. So the potential can be up to Rp 150 billion,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Head of Bappeda West Java Province Yerry Yanuar explained these inauguration was an event which is the fifth held regularly at the beginning of the year, since it was first held on January 14th, 2011. Through the Bandung Declaration with the main theme: CSR West Java for humanity and environment.
"The legal basis overshadow this event, is the West Java Provincial Regulation No. 2 of 2013 on guidelines for social responsibility of the corporate environment (TJSLP) and environmental development partnership program (PKBL) in West Java," said Yerry.
Realisation of funding for the implementation of programs and activities of CSR in West Java, according to Yerry for 5 years in the period of 2011-2015 with funding patterns in accordance with the rupiah regulations = 0 (zero), as well as working patterns synergy with high degree and coordination with low degree was amounting to Rp 893.52 billion. The Fund is managed directly by the companies that have partnered with the West Java CSR team.
"The number of companies that have partnered with the West Java CSR team has reached 103 companies, that consists of 3 BUMD, 30 enterprises BUMN, and 70 private companies," said Yerry.
The number of companies participating in this event was 85 companies, with a number of inscriptions that will be unveiled as many as 76 inscriptions. In addition there were 47 companies that showed off the construction work.
