BANDUNG - West Java Governor inaugurated projects funded by CSR Company in West java that amounted to Rp 100,5 Millar, Wednesday (2/3/16) at the West Hall of Gedung Sate Bandung.
There are 76 of 106 companies in West Java which involved in the West Java CSR project that inaugurated by Governor Ahmad Heryawan. It was marked by signing in its company inscriptions. The governor directly signed the 76 inscriptions which accompanied by the head of company involved in CSR project.
West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan in a speech at the opening ceremony explained that the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is part of its responsibility to society and the environment. “The things issued by company of some of its profits which has social value that very valuable for development,” said the Governor.
The governor explained that based on the Islamic values, taking out some of the advantages has a similar principle to shodaqoh or infaq. Likewise with the company that issued the majority of its profits to social value, it is believed that corporate profits will increase as well.
"I am sure, the greater of social value issued by the company, it is believed that the greater profits of the company,” said the governor.
lt’s also described by Governor, that in addition to the social value obligation, the company also required an obligation and responsibility towards the environment. To that end, the Governor invited company, especially in the northern region to plant mangrove trees.
“I should like to thank to the companies that have been concerned about the environment, future generations and future of West Java as well,” he concluded.
Governor Ahmad Heryawan, accompanied by Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar expressed his appreciation to 76 companies. This award was given for their dedication and responsibility towards society and the environment in West Java.
