BANDUNG-PT Employees of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk took the initiative to raise funds from all union members to participate in helping victims of the earthquake that occurred in West Nusa Tenggara.
Funds that have been collected around 300 million rupiahs are bought in the form of tents, tarpaulins, blankets, clothing, medical supplies and basic daily necessities.
PT Telkom Union Chairperson Asep Mulyana accompanied by Secretary General of the DPP Sekar Abdul Karim and Chairman of the Eastern Indonesia Sekar Region Board of Management Endy Sapto Dahono went directly to the disaster field to hand over aid and meet disaster victims on Saturday and Sunday (18-19 / 08 / 2018)
Chairman of the Sekar Regional Management Board Telkom West Nusa Tenggara Educate Triprasetyo informed that for 2 days the General Chairperson of Sekar Telkom together with the team would visit the location of the disaster post including Senteluk, Pusuk and Gunung Sari. The second phase of aid is currently around Rp.220 million. The first phase assistance was launched last week worth Rp. 30 million. So the total has reached Rp. 250 million.
SEKAR TELKOM DPP Secretary-General Abdul Karim stated that the number of funds that had been collected through the SEKAR TELKOM account CARED up to August 18, 2018, had reached Rp. 362,064,040. The amount is expected to continue to grow.
In addition to today's activities, last week the Sekar Telkom Volunteers who are members of the Dedicate to the State (BBN) community led by Chairman BBN Eyen Ekayatri have submitted 500 books worth Rp. 15 million for children in Kerujuk Village as reading material in shelter tents.
This social activity is part of the mission of the PT Telkom Employees Union in addition to the main mission of fighting for the welfare of employees and protecting/protecting members. Sekar Telkom is the only Employee Union in PT Telkom. Established in 2000 headquartered at Graha Merah Putih TELKOM Jl. Japati No. 1 Bandung.
